Telling your story
Thin experience is fine if you can say, clearly, why you’d be good.
- You’re not "just a student." You have a reason you’d be great — find it and say it plainly.
- Show drive: what you taught yourself, what you built, what you kept showing up for.
- Have a 20-second answer to "tell me about yourself" that isn’t your whole life story.
- Be specific. "I closed the shop alone at 17" says more than "responsible and hardworking."
